Account & Data Deletion

PanchayatX account holders may request deletion of their account and associated personal data.

How to request deletion

Sign in to your PanchayatX account and use the account/support channel to request Account Deletion. If you cannot sign in, use the support channel listed on our Contact page and provide enough account information for us to verify ownership.

What is deleted

After identity/ownership verification, we delete or anonymise account profile information and user-created personal data associated with the account, subject to data that must be retained for legitimate security, fraud prevention, payment dispute, accounting or legal obligations.

What this does not delete

Deleting a PanchayatX account does not delete or alter electoral-roll records held by government/election authorities or independent source records that PanchayatX does not control.

Processing

Deletion requests are processed after verification. If limited records must be retained for a lawful reason, they are restricted to that purpose as described in our Privacy Policy.
